Advertising, UGC & AI Content Policy

Effective date:

MANCHWAVE develops influencer partnerships, UGC advertising and AI-assisted creative. This Policy sets out our principles for truthful, responsible campaigns, especially in skincare and beauty. It supplements, but does not replace, each client's contractual responsibilities and the applicable laws, platform rules and Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) guidance.

1. Genuine endorsements and transparent sponsorships

Creators and brands should disclose any material advertising connection, including payment, gifted products, affiliate incentives or other benefits, clearly and prominently using appropriate labels and platform disclosure tools. Disclosures should be visible without relying on hidden text or a click to expand. Endorsements must reflect genuine experience and not invent product testing, purchase histories or results.

2. Claims and regulated products

Brand clients are expected to provide accurate product descriptions, required warnings and evidence for objective performance or efficacy claims. Skincare and beauty messaging must not imply unverified medical outcomes or unrealistic before-and-after transformations. Where regulated claims require special qualifications or approvals, we may request proof or decline publication. We do not treat creative approval as independent scientific, medical or legal verification of a client's product.

3. AI-assisted and synthetic content

We may use AI to assist with ideation, scripts, storyboards, product visuals, editing and advertising variations. We distinguish creative concepts and generated visuals from authentic client projects and real creator testimonials. We do not intentionally fabricate customer endorsements, impersonate real people without permission, present fake qualified professionals as genuine experts, or represent materially fictional results as observed outcomes. Where the synthetic nature of an advertisement materially affects how a reasonable audience understands it, appropriate and clear disclosure must be provided in line with applicable law, ASCI guidance and platform requirements.

4. Talent, voice and likeness

Before creating or using UGC that features a person's identifiable face, voice or likeness, we require the appropriate written consent and signed talent documentation. The grant must address channels, intended advertising use, duration and relevant edits or reuse. Use of a person's likeness in an AI-generated or materially altered advertisement may also require explicit authorization and a clear disclosure. Minor talent require guardian consent and added safeguards.

5. Creator rights, client approvals and licenses

Client approvals should cover the script, factual claims, creative direction and permitted usage. Copyright ownership and paid-media exploitation rights are handled separately in our Content Ownership & Usage Rights Policy and signed agreements. Ad account access, spending, targeting and campaign outcomes are not included merely because an ad creative is produced.

6. Performance estimates and case studies

Forecasts, sample concepts and benchmark discussions are estimates or illustrations, not guaranteed outcomes. We do not present illustrative concept work as delivered client case studies. Where actual results are reported, we identify the metrics used and any material measurement limitations. Ad performance depends on audience, budget, platforms, landing pages and client decisions, not creative alone.

7. Reporting concerns and corrective action

If you believe MANCHWAVE-associated content lacks a required disclosure, infringes a person's rights or makes a misleading claim, please provide the relevant link and details to hello@manchwave.com. We will review concerns and coordinate reasonable corrections or removal with relevant parties where warranted.
